No. 200, Martinsyde Elephant
Before the
Datafile No. 70, this was the definitive work on the Martinsyde
Elephant. This 12 page booklet with color-profiles, text and black
and white photos was written by the leading WW I aircraft authority,
J . M. Bruce. It is a beautiful reference on a fairly cumbersome
airplane. This copy is from my collection and was bought new around
1967 as a subscriber to the series--it is in excellent condition.
US$3.00
This issue
contains a particularly good feature about the colors and markings
of the Selfridge ANGB aircraft. Also included are articles on
P-51s in the Pacific Theater, Tigershark details, and a "Cookie"
Sewell article on the Soviet T-80 MBT with drawings. The issue
is 8 X11 with 51 pps. It is in as new condition. US$8.00
A 20th Anniversary
copy, the issue equals a FineScale Modeler of the period for solid
information. Among the articles is a exhaustive survey of the
General Dynamics F-15XL including a three-view, conversion information
and drawings of the Heatley-Ferris scheme; three pages of A-26
"Invader," photos; the second part of a detailed study
of the LVT-A5 including photos and drawings; General Motors FM-2
in USN service with four pages of camouflage and markings drawings
and much more--51pp 8 1/2 X 11. This copy is in excellent condition.
US$10.00.
